| Live Burn Training 2009 |

Firefighters trained for their annual Live Burn certification at the City of Danbury Burn Building. This training reinforces firefighting skills with live fire inside the burn building. Techniques in interior Search and Rescue, Primary Fire Attack, Backup Fire Attack, Rapid Intervention Team, Roof Ventilation, Engine Pump Operations, Personnel Accountability, Incident Command, and other fire ground operations were tested throughout the day.
 Firefighters enter burn building to perform a fire attack.
 Firefighter prepares a gas powered roof saw before going to the roof.
 Roof ventilation operations.
 Firefighters are supported by Junior Corps members with air bottle replacements.
 First Lieutenant Tom Gillotti orchestrates the entire scene as the incident commander.
