Post Incident Analysis
Thu. Jan 20th 2011

On Wednesday evening January 19th, officers and members of the Southbury Fire Department took part in a Post Incident Analysis of two structure fires the department fought the previous week.  Lt. Jason Decremer was the Incident Commander of the structure fire on Vista View and lead the discussion pertaining to that incident.  Asst. Chief Dave Klein was the Incident Commander of the structure fire on Lower Fish Rock Road and lead the discussion of that incident.  In both cases Strategy & Tactics, Apparatus Positioning, and Use of Equipment and Manpower were discussed at length.  The night was a great opportunity for officers and members to learn from these two fires and as a progressive fire department work toward improving future operations.  Members were thanked for a job well done and the professionalism that was shown at both incidents.
